The University Board of the Student Government, consisting of the chairs of individual committees, is a key decision-making body whose activities are the foundation for the effective and harmonised functioning of the entire organisation.

Each board member brings unique competencies and experience gained within their specialized committee, ensuring a multifaceted approach to problem-solving and project implementation. The team is characterized not only by professionalism but also by commitment and passion, which translates into high-quality initiatives and innovative solutions.

Through effective communication and inter-committee collaboration, the board effectively coordinates activities, ensuring coherence of goals and the harmonious development of the organization. The strategic vision and leadership demonstrated by board members inspire the entire local government community, motivating active participation in the organization’s life. Legal and Financial Affairs Committee

The Legal Committee ensures effective communication and document exchange between Student Government bodies and the University. They ensure that all regulations and applications are drafted correctly, in accordance with legal requirements, and are substantively accurate. Furthermore, they offer specialized legal support for all initiatives and projects, ensuring they comply with applicable regulations.

Thanks to their work, legal processes run smoothly, which contributes to the smooth functioning of cooperation between local government and the academic community.

Social Affairs Committee

The Social Committee plays a key role in academic life, focusing primarily on promoting integration and building positive relationships between students. Its activities focus on building a strong student community by organizing various initiatives that foster better understanding and mutual support.

The members of the Social Committee work hard to ensure that every student feels included in the academic community, regardless of their background or interests. By organizing cultural events, team-building activities, and initiatives to support well-being and mental health, the committee prioritizes good interpersonal relationships and mutual understanding.

Academic Affairs Committee

The Academic Committee addresses broad aspects of teaching. Its activities include monitoring and supporting curriculum development, as well as participating in the review process for new degree programs. One of the committee’s exceptional projects is the organization of a language school, which offers students the opportunity to learn new languages ​​and cultures, thus fostering international integration and personal development.

The Academic Committee also focuses on the “Wybiła 17” initiative, which provides a platform for meetings with inspiring figures from various fields, broadening the intellectual horizons of participants. Working on the committee requires commitment to the educational process, seeking innovative teaching solutions, and ensuring continuous improvement in the quality of education.

The activities of the Academic Committee focus on creating conditions for effective and inspiring education, which translates into better preparation of students for future professional and personal challenges. Working on this committee requires not only an understanding of the educational needs of the academic community but also a creative approach to organizing the learning process.

The IT Committee serves a key role in providing technological support and digital communications, serving as an integral part of the organizational structure and ensuring the smooth operation of all aspects of the virtual world. Its primary areas of responsibility include:

  • Designing and updating websites, which provides easy access to information and digital resources for the academic community.

Thanks to its versatility and advanced technical skills, the IT Committee provides the foundation for the smooth running of student events, supporting them from both a technological and creative perspective. Collaboration with other committees allows for the implementation of comprehensive projects and initiatives, underscoring the committee’s indispensable role in fostering a dynamic and engaged student environment.

Public Image Committee

The Public Image Committee plays a key role in creating and maintaining a positive image for the local government on social media. It specializes in designing attention-grabbing graphics, as well as developing engaging content that promotes the University of Wrocław Student Government events. The committee’s work requires not only creativity and a keen aesthetic sense, but also an understanding of social media trends and the ability to tailor messages to various target groups.

The commission’s tasks go beyond the traditional concept of social media management, becoming a key element in building and maintaining a strong, positive and active Student Government presence in the digital space.

The Public Image Commission utilizes a wide range of tools and platforms to effectively reach audiences, support, and promote the local government. Its activities are essential to maintaining a strong and consistent online presence, which directly impacts the public’s perception of the University of Wrocław Student Government.

Marketing and External Relations Committee

The Marketing and External Relations Committee is responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with business partners, serving as a key link between the university and the business community. It specializes in establishing and nurturing relationships with representatives and managers of various companies.

Its activities focus on actively seeking sponsors and partners for collaboration in organizing large-scale student events, such as the Juwenalia. Committee members engage in intensive mailing campaigns and conduct discussions with external entities, which requires not only excellent communication skills but also negotiation skills and strategic thinking.

The work of the Marketing and External Relations Committee also involves analyzing the needs and expectations of both the university and potential business partners, which allows for the development of long-term and mutually beneficial relationships. This activity is essential for providing financial and material support to key student initiatives while strengthening the university’s position in the economic community.

Projects Committee

The activities of the Projects Committee are crucial to the effective work of the student government, as it is responsible for organizing various projects that ensure great fun during student events.

This committee is not limited to implementing projects, but also organizes integration meetings for local government members, promoting time spent together, and supports other committees and the entire local government in implementing more ambitious projects.

The work of the Project Committee is also important for strengthening relationships between students, which contributes to building a stronger academic community. Through its initiatives, the committee creates a positive image of the university externally, attracting new students and partners. Furthermore, it enables student government members to develop personally and acquire valuable organizational skills.

Social and Living Affairs

The Representative for Social and Living Affairs supports the University Board of the Student Government in activities concerning student living conditions, financial assistance, and matters related to accommodation.

Monitors and reports student social and living issues to the Board. Collaborates with university and student housing administration on accommodation and living conditions. Provides students with information on scholarships, financial aid, and other forms of support.

Supports the Board in preparing positions, opinions, and initiatives regarding the university’s social policy. Works in close collaboration with the Board, providing information, recommendations, and proposed solutions regarding social and welfare matters.
